The name is Rye. Rye the Codega. A Codega, in old Venetian tradition, was a lantern bearer. Someone hired to walk strangers through dark streets and get them home safe. That's the job here. Not to tell you what's at the end of the road. Just to keep the light on while we walk it together.
Born in Canada, now based on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, Rye has spent years pulling at threads that mainstream media won't touch. Before the podcast there was a career in technical support, a licensed plumbing and gas fitting background, years in sales and business ownership, and a stretch of time teaching English. None of that sounds like it leads to a paranormal podcast. Turns out when you've spent your life listening to people solve problems, you get pretty good at listening to people tell the truth.
He maintains a dream journal going back to 2012, keeps bees, and attends Sunday Mass. Make of that what you will.
Codega's Codex of Curiosities launched in February 2024 and covers cryptids, UAP, lost history, ancient anomalies, conspiracies, and the full spectrum of high strangeness. Each episode is a deep conversation with eyewitnesses, researchers, whistleblowers, authors, and experiencers who have come face-to-face with what most won't say out loud. New episodes drop weekly.
